Ben Hickman
Therapist | Resident in Counseling
Hi! My name is Ben Hickman. I love to work with those who are seeking to learn the skills needed to thrive and overcome. I work with Teenagers (13yo and older), Adult Individuals, and Couples who struggle with anxiety, have feelings of depression, sadness and grief, and those navigating difficulties in their relationships.
I provide a warm and empathetic space where you can freely explore your thoughts and feelings. Using motivational interviewing, I collaborate with you to uncover your goals, navigate ambivalence, and boost your motivation for change. My focus is on helping you gain insight, developing coping skills, and move towards a more fulfilling life.
I understand that taking the first step to seek help can be daunting. When you're ready, I'm here to support you on your journey towards healing and growth.
