We are looking to hire a masters level fully Licensed Counselor (LPC, LMFT, or LCSW) who desires to help client's overcome trauma, anxiety, depression and other issues using EMDR therapy. While this is not the only modality the therapist may use, it is a request we get often.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Masters Degree
  • Hold an unrestricted LPC, LMFT, or LCSW in the state of Virginia.
    • Willing to consider a Resident in Counseling with LPC or LMFT pending
  • Certified in EMDR (EMDRIA trained preferred)
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • Possesses foundational knowledge of clinical skills, treatment approaches, and treatment planning
  • High degree of professionalism and ethics
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Applicant must pass a background check

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years experience after graduate school preferred

Responsibilities

  • Administer intake and assessment, deliver interventions, monitor progress, and document accordingly
  • Maintain required client contact and confidentiality
  • Maintain good standing with the appropriate professional licensing board
  • Complete and maintain all required continuing education requirements for specific licensure and specializations
  • Stay current with updated research and best practices
  • Maintain up to date case files within our electronic health record (EHR) system
  • Contribute to company publications as needed
  • Assist in client communication
